Title: Raindrops Author: RianPitan
Soothing, oozing, moving sound I hear the raindrops on the ground. It makes no difference me you see, Their ping, their pounce, they dance so free. A wondrous thing our god’s made thee And then brought forth to land from sea. There are some, who would say nay, Encourage fear, to keep at bay Such forces as have come today And remain around us here at play. But I cannot foresee What harm from thee Could possible be For you and me. Maybe a cleansing, of a sort. The kind, of which, one might retort...ahh! January 2000 Comments on "Raindrops"

Learn English, you putz. Did you throw a bunch of rhyming words into a hat and pick them at random. WTF? Posted by Wrangwar on September 28, 2014 Stop trying to rhyme so hard you fucking moron Posted by OTownPete on April 21, 2014 It seemed to me that the third stanza felt out of place with the rest of the poem...another tangent altogether. Posted by Carolyn Mary Kleefeld on April 17, 2014 I enjoyed this piece a lot! Imaginative and playful use of language; simply delightful. Posted by wonderfulblue on August 19, 2013 Are we missing a 'to' in the third line? (no difference TO me?) Posted by Allen Paulson on April 11, 2013 So rich in thought. Excellent write.
