THE CUP

It wasn't found, it was just recognized
It must have been standing there
For at least thirsty years
And there's still that smell of
Dark infused Darjeeling,
Mixing its passion with
Mint, the strong and powerful Jupiter.

The spoon was still reposing, in silence,
Motionlessly curved.
Its body restlessly sleeping on that plate,
No fingerprints had been put on since then.

That plate, put up by rusty flakes
Of timeless actions.
Touches of wide mountains
Of dirty uses.
Around its open space,
Which balanced
In a magical dance,
What, before, had been
The over-flooding water of time.

By far one of the best I've read on this site. Great job
