Title: Foolish Girl Author: Kerensa Aife
Foolish Girl with silly ideals Seeing the world through colored glasses A pretty face gets told anything Eager eyes search for what isn't there A painful dance of what won't be spoken All she wants is to hear the truth Plainly, simply To be fulfilled by causing their happiness She's not a fragile innocent Though they do think and hold back their words But she lets herself believe And when things crumble the pain comes Not from them From disappointment in herself Played the fool again Comments on "Foolish Girl"
